DE WITTE JAS IN DUITSLAND (1942-1945)

Some 350 qualified doctors (including university professors and lecturers) were involved in concentration camp experiments, which means one out of every 300 members of German medical community. 
Professor Kurt Gutzeit conducted hepatitis experiments on Jewish children.
Professor Heinrich Berning carried out famine experiments on Soviet prisoners of war.
Professor Julius Hallervorden ordered brains of the victims of euthanasia for his neuropathological researchers.
Professor Otman von Verschuer engaged in extensive collaboration with Josef Mengele.

In Dr. Josef Mengele’s laboratory at the Birkenau camp twins were selected for ‘genetic’ and ‘germ’ experiments.
